SIFE

SIFE stands for Students In Free Enterprise and is represented in more than 1,500 universities around the world.

I am involved with the division at King’s College London, and am also part of the 6-strong presentation team which went on to win the UK National Championship in 2009. Whilst I have advised SIFE on higher level strategy, I am also actively involved with individual charity projects. For example, I worked on the dumpsites on the outskirts of Manila, Philippines developing an ethical fashion brand which produces handmade jewellery from recyclable materials (more information at www.borninmanila.com).

I am currently helping the charity expand into international markets and will be trying to establish a presence in the United States of America and Canada this summer. I am looking to establish connections with retailers or anyone in the fashion industry. Please get in contact if you think you can help me in any capacity.

I am also part of the team which will be presenting in Berlin, Germany in October 2009 in a bid to gain international exposure and win the SIFE World Championship.
